Associate Risk Management Consultant
Dr. Yang has been with SSI since 2010 where he provides academic knowledge and expertise in government regulation and risk management practices in work environments, with a focus on the mining industry. Prior to joining SSI Dr. Yang served as a graduate assistant at Virginia Tech, while providing assistance on projects regarding workplace health and safety regulations. He has authored “Regulatory Governance and Risk Management: Occupational Health and Safety in the Coal Mining Industry” and made several presentations to include the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration annual meeting, and at Harvard University.
