Dr. Cullen is a health communications and occupational safety training development specialist with over 38 years of experience. Her career included 26 years with the U.S. Bureau of Mines and 12 years with NIOSH.
Ms. Cullen’s specific expertise is in developing and applying safety, leadership development and communication processes in the workplace. Her training manuals, videos and on-site programs for workers in coal and hard rock mines have made her a recognized expert to work effectively inside occupational communities and to develop safety training for high risk industries.
Ms. Cullen holds a PhD, M.B.A. and B.A. from Gonzaga University and is both a Certified Mine Safety Professional and approved by MSHA as a safety instructor for surface and underground. She is the President/Principal of Prima Consulting.
