Safety and Mine Emergency Specialist
Harry Lovely has 25 years of experience in the mining industry, in both underground and surface mines in coal, zinc, gold, and limestone operations. In addition, the wide variety of positions that he has held include mechanic/electrician, drill rig operator, plant manager, chief mine engineer, and has also been very instrumental in developing and coordinating mine safety and training programs and mine rescue training programs. Harry has a vast amount of experience in both coal and metal and nonmetal mine rescue programs. Drawing on this wide range of experience he has implemented a Mine Emergency Response Development (MERD) training format. In addition to being an MSHA certified instructor for mine rescue, Harry is also certified for underground (IU), surface (IS), and train the trainer (IN) safety courses, and holds Colorado Underground Coal Mine Foreman papers.
