Mr. Steele has certifications in hoisting, surface foreman, underground belt examiner and mine foreman in the State of Kentucky; and hoisting, mine examiner, shot firer, mine manager and EMT in the State of Illinois. He also has MSHA certificates as an instructor, impoundment inspector and in noise and dust.
His affiliations include National Mine Rescue Association, Illinois Mine Rescue Association, Joseph A. Jones Holmes Safety Association, National Mine Rescue Rules Committee, National Mine Rescue Executive Committee and the Illinois Trainer’s Association.
